Salon Tour Featuring Honey Hair Lab
Modern Salon hosted a Facebook Live tour of the West Hollywood salon Honey Hair Lab, owned by top beauty industry influencer Rebecca Taylor. Watch the video to get an inside look at this gorgeous space furnished with a plethora of Minerva Beauty equipment.
Rebecca Taylor begins the tour by introducing viewers to her business and life partner Chris, who is seated behind the rustic Etowah Reception Desk by the large store-front window. While stylist Daniel K Palmer works on a client in the background, Rebecca walks through her eclectic reception area complete with Apalachee Retail Displays showcasing a variety of product and detailed with touches of lush greenery. Rebecca explains her salon’s aesthetic is a combination of old versus new with touches of southwestern and rustic flair. To complement her salon’s style, Rebecca chose Lakota Styling Stations from Minerva’s Reclaimed collection which features century old reclaimed wood, hammered zinc countertops, and hand-sculpted iron frames. Paired with the rustic styling stations are ‘plush’ Pagani Styling Chairs in Bark Brown, which Rebecca notes how sitting in the Pagani feels like you’re being cradled with luxury. As she continues the tour, Rebecca points out the Aluminum Mobile Service Trays between each station and how they add both functionality and mobility to her beautiful salon space. Moving towards the back of Honey Hair Lab, you see Daniel K Palmer shampooing his client on the bark brown Cayman Shampoo System. For additional comfort, Rebecca lovingly reclines the guest to showcase the Cayman’s added features for enhancing the relaxation for the client’s overall experience. Behind the shampoo systems, Rebecca perfectly placed Seminole Retail Displays with three sturdy shelves full of product, Partex Bleach Guard Towels, and vibrant greenery. Next to her lavish shampoo lounge is the processing area complete with two Medusa Infrared Color Hair Processors. As the tour comes to an end, Rebecca explores one of the most essential parts of the salon, the photo studio. Being a beauty industry influencer, Rebecca highlights the importance of having a photo studio in the salon for social media content. The studio is complete with multiple backdrops and two ring lights to ensure the perfect lighting.
